1000 books
1000 Books B4 Kindergarten

One thousand books? That seems like way too many, right? Not at all. You got this. It doesn't matter if your child is three, or just three months - there's no better time to start than now! Reading helps build social and emotional skills, sparks creativity and imagination, promotes bonding, and helps kids do well overall in school. Take that motivation, open one book, and get started. And remember, 1000 is just a number. The goal is to work reading aloud into your regular routine, and let the magic of stories do the rest.

Our Mission

The mission of the Bartram Trail Regional Library is to provide library materials and services to help residents in Wilkes, Taliaferro, and McDuffie Counties attain information and experiences meeting their social, cultural, recreational, and educational needs.

Naturalist William Bartram

Forged a trail through Georgia between 1773 and 1777. Each of our branches in Washington, Taliaferro, and Thomson-McDuffie were among his travels that we now call the Bartram Trail.
